What should be considered when renovating a cleanroom?
Renovating a cleanroom is a highly technical industry. A cleanroom is not like an ordinary room; it requires an extremely high level of cleanliness. Some areas even need to meet requirements such as dust resistance, fire resistance, thermal insulation, anti-static properties, etc.

Therefore, renovating a cleanroom demands in-depth knowledge of the field, as well as a clear understanding of the materials used in cleanroom renovation. Only then can the true meaning of "dust-free" be achieved.

How to choose renovation materials

1. Water-resistant gypsum boards must be used.

2. The moisture content of wood should not exceed 16%, otherwise it may crack, warp, or loosen.

3. Renovation materials must have a certain level of chemical durability.

4. Renovation materials must have a certain level of oxidation resistance.

5. For damp areas, anti-slip ceramic tiles should be chosen.

6. Plastic antibacterial walls have a short lifespan, are prone to deformation and blistering, and are suitable for low-grade and narrow renovations.

7. Cleanroom decorative panels: Also known as panels, they are a high-end decorative material.

Cleanroom construction requirements

1. Self-leveling floor treatment with a thickness of 2mm.

2. According to GMP regulations, all gaps must be sealed.

3. All accessories connected to the main structure must avoid looseness and dust shedding.

4. Gaps should be sealed on the front side.

5. According to GMP certification inspection standards, the following requirements must be met:

a. Choose materials with minimal deformation.

b. Walls and ceilings must be smooth, easy to clean, etc. Colors should be harmonious and facilitate the identification of contaminants.

c. Gaps at contact points must be sealed.

6. Dust generated during work must be cleaned up promptly.

7. Rooms with filters must not have dust-generating work.

8. Protect work surfaces well to avoid damaging the panels.

Precautions during cleanroom construction

1. Before installing panels, they should be sorted in advance.

2. Before fixing, remove impurities and keep the surface dry.

3. Equipment entrances should be sealed at all times to prevent contaminants from entering.

4. The construction site must ensure good ventilation and lighting.
