FFU (Fan Filter Unit) is an air purification device with a built-in fan that provides clean air to the cleanroom through an efficient filtration system. The core component is a fan driven by an AC motor, which achieves air purification by adjusting the wind speed.
Core functions
The communication FFU is mainly composed of fans, filters, deflectors, etc., which can filter particulate matter (such as dust, bacteria, etc.) in the air and evenly supply air at a wind speed of 0.45m/s ± 20%. It is suitable for environments with a cleanliness level of 1000 or above.
governing characteristic
Communication FFU usually adopts five speed regulation or infinite speed regulation, with a wind speed range of 0.3-0.6m/s. In the five speed regulation mode, the wind speeds for each gear are 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45, and 0.5m/s, respectively; Infinite speed regulation can achieve continuous adjustment from 0 to 0.6m/s.
Structural characteristics
Box material: commonly galvanized steel plate, stainless steel, etc;
Filter configuration: Usually equipped with two-stage filters for initial and high efficiency, some models support ultraviolet disinfection function;
Static pressure performance: At a face wind speed of 0.45m/s, the external static pressure of the machine needs to be ≥ 90pa to ensure stability.
Applicable scenarios
Suitable for scenarios with high air cleanliness requirements such as clean rooms, clean workbenches, and localized purification areas, with low initial investment but high maintenance costs in the later stages.
