Cleanroom technology involves the removal of fine dust particles, bacteria, and other airborne contaminants within a defined space, while controlling temperature, cleanliness, room pressure, air velocity and distribution, noise, vibration, lighting, and static electricity within specified limits. This creates a specially designed dust-free cleanroom.

The principles of cleanroom technology. Cleanrooms use HEPA filters and air purification devices with a dust collection efficiency of 99.97~99.99995%, ensuring the air passing through these filters is extremely clean. However, in addition to people, cleanrooms contain other dust sources such as machinery. Once dust is dispersed, maintaining a clean environment becomes challenging. Therefore, airflow must be used to quickly remove generated dust from the room.

Three key factors of dust in cleanroom technology. Dust-free cleanrooms operate on three main principles: preventing dust, carrying dust, and generating dust. An airlock is one of the buffer channels for entering a cleanroom and serves as one of the best devices to control dust entry. It minimizes contamination caused by personnel entering and exiting the dust-free cleanroom. The two doors of the airlock are electronically interlocked, functioning as an air chamber to block external contamination and prevent untreated air from entering the dust-free clean area, ensuring a production environment that meets factory requirements.
